Almost all A-frame jacks have the triangle mounting plate with the 3 inch on center holes. We do not carry anything that has the 4 holes. We do have some electric jacks like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 23" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Black, # JET-5000 that have a round plate to mount, but the holes are still lined up with the triangular mount design.

I have never seen a blank cover plate to cover the hole on your trailer A-frame, but you should be able to easily fabricate one out of a steel or aluminum sheet. As an alternative to the Snap Ring Swivel Jack # TJBB-2001-B you could also consider the Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K. The best bet if you're wanting to use a coupler like the # CA5100B you referenced would be to remove the 1-7/8 inch trailer ball you currently have and switch to a 2 inch ball. The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator # DX56FR has a 2" ball coupler and is compatible with disc trailer brakes. While this actuator does come with an electric lockout that ties to the reverse light circuit to prevent pressure from getting to the brake calipers, you can also use it manually. We do have a drop leg with a foot plate available for the Bulldog Fixed-Leg Trailer Jack # BD195321, but casters are not currently available for jacks with square tubes. I recommend the Bulldog 17-11/16-Inch Drop Leg With Pin # BDDF3500 to go with the trailer jack you mentioned. It has a footplate width of 7-1/2 inches and a tubing width of 1-7/8 inches and includes the pin.

It sounds like you are looking for a trailer battery box that mounts at the front of the trailer near the tongue and coupler (the coupler is what grips the hitch ball on the tow vehicle).
Battery boxes usually have some sort of ventilation, such as on the Tow-Rax Battery Box # TWSP12B which uses a clear plastic tube for this function.

I checked with Lippert, manufacturer of the Jack-It # LC429756 and they do not list an alternate shank. The only thing I can think of is that people are modifying it to fit their needs. You could instead use the Bike Bunk, # CC-275, with the Swagman Trailhead, # S63381. This will allow you to place the Bike Bunk on the A-frame at a spacing as narrow as 12 inches and as much as 52 inches (and basically anything in between). view full answer...
